I’ve started a songwriting project this year : write and record one song per month every month. Sounds simple enough, but it’s been tough to stick to, what with everyday life tending to soak up one’s free time the way it does.

This track here, “the Wolves,” is the first of the project’s output that I’m really happy with, both in terms of the song and the recording. I think I’d rather leave the song up to interpretation rather than hash out all of my writing process, etc, so I’ll stop here and let you just listen.

In 2002 the Way Blue Bucket started work on its only studio recording, of which Green Bean is one of its most successful efforts. Green Bean had long been one of the favorite numbers at live performances, and we sought to capture some of that energy in the studio. Working up to the recording, we rehearsed two or three times a week, and the tightness of the group at that time comes through right away. For a copy of the whole album, just send me a message via the contact page.
